An afternoon of festivities in Cadwalader Park
Rain or Shine
If the weather is good, bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the performances.
In Spanish, Tertulia means gathering, especially a gathering of people interested in arts and culture. People of all ages and backgrounds are gathering at Ellarslie to appreciate the art and culture of Latino-Americans.Enjoy an afternoon of cultural foods by Amanda’s Alcapurrias & Catering.
Exciting live traditional Puerto Rican folk music by Melodias Borinqueqas on the veranda of the museum.
Crafts from Costa Rican artisan, Antoinette Marchfelder of Mano Tigre Designs
Family fun will include a Domino tournament, face painting for children, demonstrations of cultural dancing (click here for a sample) and crafts.
To enjoy the musical and dance performances, bring a chair or a blanket.
In case of rain, the activities will be held indoors or on the veranda.
