ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Todd Evans, Host, is a poet, author, open mic host, and director/founder of The Don Evans Players community theater group

Jamirah Heyward, also known as The Micah, is a poet out of Willingboro, New Jersey. She describes her poetry as a mirror to the people including herself, a reflection that addresses injustices through perspective-challenging and thought-provoking pieces.

James Graham, poet and singer from Trenton, New Jersey, who promotes the uplift of poetry and the arts community as a whole through events such as the Trenton Divine Poetry Night Out.

Jim Gordon is a resettled Trenton citizen. He is an engaged supporter of the art, poetry, music, theater, and youth baseball that vitalize New Jersey’s capital city.

Karen Yvette Jones is a powerful Trenton voice and blessed singer who has performed at McCarter Theatre and with many other artists and events.

Shannon Mack, an eclectic soul, teaches at the Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County. She’s an altruistic poet, author, and artist who shares her gifts and talents with the youth.

Ida B. Malloy is a lifelong Trentonian who supports anything that uplifts Trenton, New Jersey. “I love to read, write, and listen to good music.”
