Take your iPhone photo skills to the next level with award-winning photographer and instructor Cheryl Bomba

- WEEK 1: The Tools in Your Toolbox — learning your way around the basics like editing, adjusting light and color, filters, settings like portrait and fine art, and a lot more
- WEEK 2 Nov 12: Getting It Right In-Camera — you’ll start practicing techniques indoors and outdoors, including experimenting with composition, exposures, and remote shutter control
- WEEK 3: Enhancing Your Image — with hands-on demonstration and assistance, we’ll continue sharing images with the class, dig deeper into editing like removing an object or using selective color
- WEEK 4: Creativity Unlimited — we’ll get into composite photography and other exciting and creative techniques that various apps offer; plus our final “Glow and Grow” session of sharing our favorite images

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Native New Jerseyan Cheryl Bomba has been a resident of Mercer County for over twenty years. Cheryl became involved with photography as a special education teacher and adjunct lecturer when she bought one of the first digital cameras and began taking portraits of her students with autism. Since then, her interests have expanded to include capturing small moments in nature, architecture, and sculpture.
Cheryl’s work has been juried into many regional, national, and international exhibitions, including those at The Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie, Grounds for Sculpture, the Monmouth Museum, the Pennsylvania Center for Photography, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Phillips’ Mill Community Association, and the Salmagundi Club.
Cheryl’s work has won numerous awards, most often awards for creative interpretation of themes. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the permanent collection of the Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
Cheryl is a member of Artists of Bristol on the Delaware, Belmar Arts, Bristol Photographers Club, the Guild of Creative Art, the Hopewell Valley Arts Council, New Hope Arts, New Jersey Photography Forum, the Pennsylvania Center for Photography, and the Photographers’ Group (Founding Member).
