Willkomen! Bienvenue! Welcome! To Trenton’s own Then and Now Cabaret!
Spend a warm summer evening enjoying the dulcet tones of Trenton cabaret singer Tom Chiola accompanied by pianist George Sinkler. It’s a chance to be “puttin’ on the Ritz” at a very affordable price and enjoy the pleasures of good food, good music, and fine art in Ellarslie’s warm, intimate atmosphere, all the while supporting Trenton’s cultural jewel, the Trenton City Museum.
Food is provided by Trenton area restaurants, some famous from years in the Trenton area, many from the present day, well on their way to becoming famous.
Beverages include wine and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well as Ellarslie’s favorite cocktail Le Pamplemousse!
Tom will sing tunes your parents and grandparents might have enjoyed intermingled with the hits of today.
In addition to the evening’s entertainment, patrons have the opportunity to bid on a unique selection of special summertime silent auction items.
Views of Trenton’s fascinating and diverse history created by contemporary Trenton artists as part of the Trenton Then and Now: Contemporary Views exhibit are interspersed with Trenton scenes by some of Trenton’s most famous artists of the last fifty years.
