Cool Women Poets is a Central Jersey-based, nine-member poetry critique and performance group, which has been meeting for 24 years. The members are widely published individually and as a group. Their performances are theme based improvisations and the result is a poetic jazz performance. The reading is a benefit for the Trenton Museum Society as the society celebrates its 40th anniversary and will celebrate the current Garden State Water Color Society exhibition. The theme for this reading is Lost and Found Edges which is a watercolor technique used to create and suggest movement.
Cool Women will be joined by a special guest reader Carolyn Foote Edelmann for the reading. She along with Betty Bonham Lies founded Cool Women in 1997.
