As FVHD celebrates 100 years of design in the greater Trenton area, this talk explores the firm’s first 50 years, which were guided by three principal architects: Percy L. Fowler, Albert E. Micklewright, and Samuel Mountford. Many of the firm’s most recognizable and noteworthy works are highlighted, including Mercer Hospital and numerous area schools.

Jennifer B. Leynes is an architectural historian employed with the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office. She has a B.A. in history from Furman University and a Master of Historic Preservation degree from the University of Georgia. A Trenton resident, Ms. Leynes serves on the Trenton Landmarks Commission and is a past president of the Trenton Historical Society.
