POSTPONED UNTIL 2021

New Jersey’s Premier Annual Juried Show
Drawing on the work of professional artists from the tri-state region and beyond while encouraging and recognizing emerging artists, the Ellarslie Open is New Jersey’s premier annual juried exhibit. Acceptance into the show is highly coveted by area artists, as illustrated by the record number of submissions for 2019.
 
William R. Valerio, PhD, Juror
Director and CEO, Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia
 
Director of the Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia since 2010, William R. Valerio was previously the assistant director of administration at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and curator at the Queens Museum of Art in New York City.
 
A graduate of Williams College, Dr. Valerio later earned an MA in Art History, specializing in 17th century European art, at the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Art History, specializing in European Modernism, at Yale University. After working for six years in museums in New York City, he earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on strategic management and marketing. Dr. Valerio has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Rome Prize of the American Academy in Rome.
