We’ve been given a huge responsibility. But, it is a labor of love, for we have been given a gift. Please help us, and the museum, continue to grow and to thrive.

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the opening to the public of the Trenton City Museum. The year will be filled with exciting anniversary exhibitions and celebrations. We are able to celebrate today thanks to the generous support of patrons like you and the tireless and unwavering support of our Trustees, volunteers and staff.

The Trenton City Museum means so much to so many.  Two weeks ago I met an exhibiting artist who was on a first visit to the museum. Her excitement was real and contagious. She said the museum reminded her of what the Barnes used to be, “This museum is a genuine treasure!” We all know this.

I recently received a personal letter from a museum member who had lost her husband this year. She spoke of the importance the Trenton City Museum held in their lives and how their art collection, built from our art exhibitions, is sustaining her during this life transition. She felt that by contributing to the museum they were also contributing to the community.

On behalf of the Trenton Museum Society I am asking you to make a donation to our Annual Appeal that will help us maintain this storied building, support exhibits and programming and allow us to continue our community outreach.

You may pay online using Paypal (click on the button below) or mail in your contribution to the Trenton Museum Society.

The Trenton Museum Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

With sincere thanks,

Joan Perkes
