Six Sessions

SiriOm Singh is a spiritual teacher and KRI certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. He has been teaching yoga since 1999 in the USA and abroad. A Reiki Master, SiriOm combines yoga and energy work in his teaching. He is also a visual artist and musician. He uses all these gifts to help students connect with and express their full potential.

SiriOm Singh teaches Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Kundalini Yoga, also called Yoga of Awareness, uses breath, posture, sound and meditation to enhance the flow of energy, develop and balance the mind, and increase strength, flexibility and vitality to achieve a healthy body and peaceful mind.

These 1½ hour classes include warm up, yoga kriyas – exercise sequences focusing on a different aspect of the mind/body, deep relaxation and mantra chanting. The classes are open to all levels. Previous experience of yoga is not necessary.

Please wear light, loose clothes and bring a blanket or mat to lie on and a meditation shawl or blanket for deep relaxation.

The cost for Trenton Musuem Society members is $10 per session
The cost for non-members is $15 per session
Payment will be taken at each session.

Please call (609) 989-1191 or email tms@ellarslie.org if you plan to attend.

Art in the Park

After School Program at Ellarslie

Sponsored by the Trenton Museum Society

Children will explore and learn about artwork from the museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. They will create their own art in a hands-on workshop. This program, a continuation of our fall session, will help children gain a basic understanding of art and encourage experimentation with different creative techniques.

Artist and experienced teacher, Norma Jean DeVico will be teaching the classes.  She has studied in New York and Italy and has her MFA from Brooklyn College.  She says, “I want my students to know art is fun, but it also takes hard work to excel.”

For children ages 6 to 12.

Watch for the next session in the fall of 2009.
